| REPORT OF THE WIRE INSPECTOR To The Inhabitants of the Town of Abington: The Wire Inspector submits his Annual Report for 2005: The following is a breakdown of new inspections and permit requests for 2005: 244 21 42.5 hours New Residential............................24 Other Residential.......................342 Swimming Pools...........................18 Commercial..................................64 New Commercial / Residential......1 Municipal / Town property ...........9 ----- Total 444 Selectmen's Inspections and Reports...........21. Emergency Issues & Fire Department calls..42.5 hours Along with the normal inspections, we were requested to perform several inspections by the Board of Selectmen. We were also called out on numerous occasions this year by the Abington Fire Department, to assist in the investigation of fires, safety issues and water damage due to water breaks and flooding damage concerns.
