Pllumbing and Gas Inspector 2005 Annual Report

REPORT OF THE PLUMBING AND GAS INSPECTOR

It has been busy for the Plumbing and Gas Department in the year of 2005.
Overall, in the year of 2005, 218 plumbing permits were filed. The 218
Plumbing permits collected a total of $15,596.50 for the town of Abington. As
well as plumbing permits, a total of 151 gas permits were also filed over the
course of 2005. The total amount of money collected from the gas permits
filed totaled $6,535 for the town of Abington. There have been many
significant changes to the plumbing and gas code over the past year. Due to
new technologies and changes in the gas code, each year, much more time is
spent on gas inspections. In closing, I would like to acknowledge the
assistant inspectors, Dale Gardiner and Kenny Kristiansen for their continued
support. Also, I would like to thank the building inspector, Russell Forseburg
for his continued support.
